A world familiar, but new.

Like the bygone days of antiquity brought to life anew, this is a world of sun-kissed villages by the sea and dusky temples rising from desert dunes. A time identifiable yet distant, like something remembered rather than revealed. Beneath that surface lies an age unlike any before, where a war that began in the heavens now bleeds across the world. Gods of light lead mortal armies against forces wielding arcane sorcery, and civilizations are reduced to dust as priests and oracles search the skies for signs of a peace that may never come.

A hero's journey.

A young demigod—brash, determined, and untested. Turning away from her affluent upbringing, she seeks something harder, something real: the life of a soldier. There, she quickly discovers that the world is unforgiving and that inexperience walks hand in hand with defeat. Through failure and hard-earned observation, she begins the slow ascent to becoming the hero destiny demands.

A dark enemy.

His kin were fashioned from the firmament and bound in sorcery—ageless and eternal as the stars. Even among them, he stands unmatched and absolute. In devotion to a dark goddess, he is sworn to the conquest of the mortal races. Their kingdoms will be stripped of will, not in ruin but submission. From what remains, a new world will be forged under his dominion, where his people and his throne reign supreme.
